Longleaf Drive Roadway & Infrastructure Extension

The Longleaf Drive roadway infrastructure extension project located in Elk Grove, CA was part of a large office building development by Pappas Investments, Inc.  Development of the two parcel office project had three major components; the extension of utilities and pavement to serve the building sites, the office buildings and on site improvements, and a bridge constructed over an existing detention basin connecting the new Longleaf Drive roadway improvements with Laguna Springs Drive.

Geoff Okarma Construction, Inc. was hired as the General Contractor for the roadway/infrastructure extension work.  We effectively coordinated project scope and schedule with the City of Elk Grove and their bridge contractor, and with the Owner’s general contractor on the buildings. 

Geoff Okarma Construction, Inc. was responsible for the management of the 1/3 mile roadway and infrastructure extension, including the following scopes:

  • Grading/Paving
  • Wet Utilities – Storm Drain, Sewer, Water
  • Dry Utilities – Power (SMUD), Gas (PG&E), Phone/ Data
  • Site Concrete – Curb/Gutter, Sidewalks
  • Bus Station Shelters
